Motley: adjective. exhibiting great diversity of elements
Mess: noun. a dirty, untidy, or disordered condition.
The underlying idea of this motley mess is the exploration of personal form and identity. The process of carving out personal substance, and I'm sure to many others as well, involves inspirational reproduction. (i.e., copying). What I aspire is that this exploration of style would be done creatively and combinatorially, and consequently, with the hope that it would be projected as my own.
This place serves the purpose of allowing me to 'steal' and place pieces here in a slapdash and haphazard manner. Anything from visual stimulus to provoking literal quotes, these are the things I will scour through again down the road when I get that tingling thought in my brain saying, "Now, where have I come across that before?"
